While losing is never fun, Enterprise can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while Kemper County is ranked 108th).
When it comes to explaining why Enterprise lost, one person who can't be blamed is Makayla Sullivan. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points along with five rebounds.
Enterprise now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Kemper County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.
Enterprise will head out on the road to face off against McLaurin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. McLaurin has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 28. As for Kemper County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Lauderdale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast Lauderdale is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
