After a string of four wins, the Enterprise Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to West Lauderdale. Enterprise lost against West Lauderdale in their previous head to head back in November, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 42-35 score last time.
Makayla Sullivan and emma hill certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Sullivan scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds, while hill scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The matchup was hill's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Enterprise's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for West Lauderdale, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enterprise will square off against Union at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for West Lauderdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Aberdeen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aberdeen is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
