Saturday just wasn't the day for the Tilden Blue Devils's offense. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 24-0 walloping at the hands of Long Island City. Tilden just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Long Island City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Billy Fuiaxis led the charge by rushing for 81 yards, while also picking up 48 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Carter Dumas, who gained 94 total yards and a touchdown.
Tilden has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Long Island City, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.
