The Alameda Hornets suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 83-47 loss at the hands of Bishop O'Dowd. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Alameda has scored all season.
It was another big night for Joshua Green, who scored 16 points for Bishop O'Dowd. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Johnson, who scored 13 points.
Alameda's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
Alameda will be playing at home against Castro Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Castro Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 438th, while Alameda is ranked 124th). As for Bishop O'Dowd, they will head out on the road to take on Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Piedmont sitting on five straight wins and Bishop O'Dowd on four.
