Ryan Cottingame and Lawson Ayo provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Van Alstyne. The connection was good for 89 yards, the longest such play in 2A-1 Region II District 6 this season.

Leading 2A-1 Region II District 6 in both passing and receiving yards, Sunnyvale's Cottingame and Josh Quinn have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-4 quarterback Cottingame has thrown for 2,552 yards this season, while Quinn has 56 catches for 948 yards. Erik Richards from Caddo Mills leads the league in rushing with 1,163 yards.

PHILLIPS of the Mikeal Miller's team is only 72 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 160 carries PHILLIPS has put up 928 yards this year.

Pottsboro added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Commerce, 20-6. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
