Last Friday, Pajaro Valley lost to Gonzales at home by a decisive 59-42 margin.
Meanwhile, Monte Vista Christian beat Greenfield 57-49 on Tuesday.
Nico Downie continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Ethan Quizon, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Pajaro Valley's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Monte Vista Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
