Linfield Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Drew Pierce out in front who scored 16 points along with two steals. Pierce has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Cox, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Linfield Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Woodcrest Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season.
Linfield Christian will face off against Dana Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Dana Hills' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 15 matchups. Woodcrest Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
