The Clyde Fliers's four-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They managed a 50-44 win over Seneca East. The victory was just what Clyde needed coming off of a 55-26 defeat in their prior match.
Clyde got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenzlie Guhn out in front who scored 17 points along with three steals. Guhn is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Taitum Jeffrey, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Clyde's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12. As for Seneca East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
Clyde the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Edison at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Seneca East on the road again on Thursday and play against Monroeville at 6:45 p.m. on February 1st.
