The Hamilton Hornets lost against the Nottingham Northstars back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Hamilton took a hard 22-6 fall against Nottingham. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hamilton in their matchups with Nottingham: they've now lost three in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Jamal Valentino, who rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Nottingham's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Prince Oghogho and his two sacks.
Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Nottingham, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Hamilton will head out on the road to face off against Bordentown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Bordentown is ranked 274th, while Hamilton is ranked 278th). Nottingham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
