Campolindo is 8-2 against College Park since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Campolindo Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the College Park Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Campolindo is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
Campolindo has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 27 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 64-21 win over Berean Christian at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-10.
Campolindo's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Devine, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds. Those nine rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Ren Marchetti, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, College Park slipped by San Rafael 42-41 on Saturday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points College Park has scored all year.
College Park got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mathys Joseph out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 21 rebounds. Those 21 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Miles Smith was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Campolindo pushed their record up to 7-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for College Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.
