Oyster River entered their tilt with Kennett on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Eagles a 13-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Oyster River let Aubrey Dejesus and Laura Boughton run wild. Dejesus got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base, while Boughton went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Kaiya Mercier also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Oyster River pushed their record up to 7-1-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Kennett, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
