The Shiloh Christian Saints will head out on the road to face off against the McDonald County Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Shiloh Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 104th in Arkansas, while McDonald County is ranked 25th in Missouri).
Last Thursday, Shiloh Christian came up short against Whitehouse and fell 42-35. Shiloh Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though McDonald County has not done well against Neosho recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. McDonald County simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Neosho 58-22 on the road.
McDonald County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamie Washam, who scored 10 points along with 9 steals and 6 rebounds. The game was Washam's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Carlee Cooper was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 5 steals.
Lamar's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Shiloh Christian's loss dropped theirs to 2-3.
