The Grantsville Cowboys will challenge the Richfield Wildcats at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams are coming into the  contest red-hot, with Grantsville sitting on  three straight  victories and Richfield on 24 (dating back to last season).
 Grantsville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They took their  match  with ease, bagging  a  30-0 win over Ogden. Considering the Cowboys have won four games by more than 29  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Jayden Atkinson continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also picking up 41 receiving yards. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in August.  Jordan Fawson did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 80  receiving yards.
 Grantsville was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 202  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ogden only rushed for 42.
 Grantsville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Mason Butler and  Easton Hammond.  Talon Butler was another major factor on D,  picking up  two  sacks, making three total tackles,  and defending a pass.
 Meanwhile, Richfield was able to grind out a solid  victory over Juan Diego Catholic on Friday, taking the game  34-27.
 Richfield can attribute much of their success to  Griffin Wayman, who threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown.
 Richfield's win was  their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 11-0. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.5 points per game. As for Grantsville, their record now sits at 9-2.
 Everything came up roses for Grantsville against Richfield in their previous meeting  back in November of 2019, as the  team secured  a  42-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grantsville since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
