The biggest upset of the week belonged to Valencia, who took down 34th ranked Canyon, 35-28.
Adding to the longest winning streak in Foothill this week, Hart beat Saugus 38-3. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Cade Apsay threw for 419 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 29-43 with 0 interceptions.
Phil Dent made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Cowboys fell to the Vikings. The 6-foot-0 senior grabbed 3 sacks.
Reid Rupe was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 70 yards on 19 carries as the Centurions fell to Valencia. Chris Hamilton also contributed to the rushing game with 43 yards on the ground.
6-foot-3 quarterback Brady White of Hart is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,614. He has also thrown 24 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Cabrera. The Canyon star has 56 catches for 944 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Hart takes on second place Valencia. Last week, Mike Herrington's team defeated Saugus, while Larry Muir's team bested Rich Gutierrez's team.
Cabrera of the the Cowboys' is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 56 receiving yards in this week's game against West Ranch to get there. He has recorded 56 catches for 944 yards this year.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Wildcats take on Canyon. West Ranch has allowed 126 points this season, while the Cowboys have given up 137. Jan Miller's team allowed 0 points last week as it bested Golden Valley.
The Wildcats scaled the state rankings by moving to 251 from 313 this week, the biggest jump in Foothill. West Ranch climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Grizzlies 31-0.
