The Parkland Trojans will head out to face off against the Northampton Konkrete Kids at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northampton took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Parkland, who comes in off a win.
Parkland barely beat Pocono Mountain West the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Parkland put the hurt on Pocono Mountain West with a sharp 11-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Mack Parsell made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in May of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Parkland got a great performance from Sawyer Marsteller as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Marsteller has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Ben Weninger, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Will Dobil was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
Parkland lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Northampton scored first but ultimately less than Liberty in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 7-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Konkrete Kids in their meetings with the Hurricanes: they've now lost eight in a row.
Aidan Sugra made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Sommers, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Parkland pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average this season. As for Northampton, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-2.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Parkland has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .465. However, it's not like Northampton struggles in that department as they've averaged .460. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
