The Sheldon Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 70-18 victory over Miami on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Sheldon has managed all season.
Sheldon was led to victory by Aiden Bogart and Aiden Ellifrits. Bogart scored 22 points along with nine rebounds, while Ellifrits dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten assists. Bogart continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Riley Chapman was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Sheldon is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Miami, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheldon will take on Exeter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Miami, they will head out on the road to face off against Chilhowee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chilhowee is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
