After losing to Iowa the last time they met, Westgate decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Westgate Tigers managed a 73-69 victory over the Iowa Yellowjackets on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Westgate's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2. As for Iowa, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.

Westgate didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-42 defeat against Sulphur on the 21st. Iowa and St. Charles Catholic will round out the year against one another at at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
