Everything went Luray's way against Strasburg on Friday as they made off with a 35-7 win. That result is just more of the same for Luray, who also won the last time these teams played.
Luray's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 21 points in the first half. Strasburg came up with 7 to make it 21-7 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Luray in the second half and held Strasburg to 0 points. The victory bumped Luray's record up to 1-0. The loss dropped Strasburg's record to 1-0.
Luray will look to defend their home turf next week against Buffalo Gap at 7:00 PM. Strasburg have some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next game, which is against Rappahannock County at 7:30 PM in two weeks.
