Muncie Central and the Arabians are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Muncie Central Bearcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pendleton Heights Arabians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Muncie Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Muncie Central scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They strolled past Marion with points to spare, taking the game 70-53.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Muncie Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landen Wells, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wells has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Xaviya Cook, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, even though Yorktown scored an imposing 57 points on Thursday, Pendleton Heights still came out on top. Pendleton Heights took their contest against the Tigers 64-57.
Muncie Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Pendleton Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.
Muncie Central came out on top in a nail-biter against the Arabians when the teams last played back in February of 2023, sneaking past 43-41. Does Muncie Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Arabians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
