Woodland Park won the last time they faced Florence and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Huskies. Considering the Panthers have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Wyatt Stimits made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two triples, five RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Link Bryden, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Fries, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

Woodland Park's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Florence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Woodland Park will venture away from home to square off against Colorado Springs Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
