Cimarron-Memorial's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Daniel Brown led the charge by scoring 20 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Cardona, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Cimarron-Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Western, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Cimarron-Memorial will be playing at home against Shadow Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Shadow Ridge has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 222 points over their last three matches. Western on the road again on Monday and play against Legacy at 6:30 p.m. on January 29th. Legacy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
