The Fremont Tigers were the  46-36 winner over the Lincoln High Links when they last played one another  back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Fremont took a   54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lincoln High. Fremont just can't catch a break and has now endured five defeats in a row.
 Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Jenna Mcclain, who  scored 18 points along with five  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Kate Denker, who  scored 18 points along with two  steals.
 Fremont's loss was  their tenth straight on the road, which  bumped their record down to 2-11. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.9 points per game. As for Lincoln High, their victory  ended a four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-11.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fremont will take on Lincoln Southeast at 5:45  p.m.  on Friday. As for Lincoln High, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Omaha North at 7:00  p.m. Omaha North is coming into the  match on a three-game losing streak.
