St. John was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They were two  runs away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wayne Trace Raiders. The Bluejays were not able to make up for their  loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting  back in April of 2024.
 St. John's saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Tyce McClain, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run and one  double. That  double was  McClain's first of the season.
St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Wayne Trace, their win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-5.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John's will welcome Montpelier  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Wayne Trace, they will be playing at home against Jefferson  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
