It was a good run, but Francis Parker unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Huntington Beach Oilers. The Lancers were not able to make up for their loss to the Oilers from their previous meeting back in September of 2022.

Francis Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Huntington Beach, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-9.

Francis Parker wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against San Marcos on the 6th. As for Huntington Beach, they will square off against Marina at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
