Volleyball Recap: First Assembly Christian Academy Takes a Loss

First Assembly Christian Academy lost against Corinth Christian Academy back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

First Assembly Christian Academy may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0.

First Assembly Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Corinth Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, First Assembly Christian Academy and Corinth Christian Academy will both be playing Hope Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
