Ribault hadn't done well against Riverside recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. In other batting news, Christian Morales was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Ribault's success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when he doesn't). Braylin Clarke was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while going 3-for-4.
Ribault kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 9.
Ribault pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11 runs. As for Riverside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
