Mater Dei had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pinckneyville Panthers 49-21. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Maris Zurliene was her usual excellent self, going 5-for-10 en route to 17 points. What's more, she also posted a 56% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in November of 2024. Alyssa Koerkenmeier was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Mater Dei's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-9. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.2 points. As for Pinckneyville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-10.

As of now, neither Mater Dei nor Pinckneyville have any future games scheduled.
