Landen Porfidio was a major factor no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dravin Whitehead, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Tre Weist also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.
