Santa Fe Christian was led to victory by  Taylor Novak and  McKinley Binnie.  Novak rushed for 105 yards and a pair of  scores on only seven carries, while  Binnie threw for 102 yards and two  touchdowns. That's the most  rushing yards  Novak has posted since back in September.  Madelyn Sleight got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
 Santa Fe Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Sleight led the group effort, picking up three of those  interceptions all by herself. She got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Santa Fe Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Southwest EC, they dropped their record down to 5-15 with the  loss, which was their 14th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Santa Fe Christian has already played their next game,  a  7-2  victory against Del Norte on the 22nd. Southwest EC does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
