The Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons lost against the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Wabasha-Kellogg was dealt a 71-21 loss at the hands of Plainview-Elgin-Millville. Wabasha-Kellogg was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-8.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Ileana DeAngel and
Madge Strobush, who each put up six points. DeAngel also led the team in assists with two. DeAngel held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Wabasha-Kellogg and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wabasha-Kellogg will take on St. Charles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winona at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
