Saint Ignatius College Prep lost against DePaul College Prep back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolfpack fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1. The Wolfpack's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Saint Ignatius College Prep actually scored more points across those three sets (78-72), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 30-28, 15-25.

Mariella Ciaravino paced Saint Ignatius College Prep's offense, picking up eight kills. Ciaravino got some help from Lola Baker and her 12 assists. Olivia Mack controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

DePaul College Prep can attribute much of their success to Madeline Ohrmundt, who had 16 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Ohrmundt has posted over her last seven contests.

Saint Ignatius College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for DePaul College Prep, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Saint Ignatius College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Jones on the 10th. As for DePaul College Prep, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Aurora Central Catholic on the 9th.
