Boston Montooth gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April of 2024 on Monday. He was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Loudon is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 9-13 otherwise.

Montooth's strong effort led Loudon over Heritage and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Redskins are 7-2 against the Mountaineers going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
