The Bloomington Central Catholic Saints scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They breezed by Rantoul on the road to the tune of 80-33. Bloomington Central Catholic has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 24 points or more this season.
Meg Uhren was nothing short of spectacular: she scored 21 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cate Uhren, who scored 14 points.
Bloomington Central Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. As for Rantoul, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-22.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomington Central Catholic's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th. Eureka is on a seven-game streak of home wins, the Saints a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Rantoul, they will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
