The East/World of Inquiry put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Canandaigua Academy 30-14. That's another feather in the cap for East/World of Inquiry, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Zymier Jackson was his usual excellent self, throwing for 277 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Ervin Wiggins Jr. was another key contributor, picking up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
East/World of Inquiry's victory was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.4 points per game. As for Canandaigua Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.
East/World of Inquiry will face off against Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Canandaigua Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
