Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ottawa Hills). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 65-29 victory over the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals. With that win, the Green Bears brought their scoring average up to 50.9 points per game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ottawa Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kendell Skiver, who went 8 of 16 en route to 18 points along with eight steals and six boards. The contest was Skiver's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Vanslooten, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 19 points in addition to seven assists and five rebounds.

Ottawa Hills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Makayla (KK) Miltz, who posted nine points and four steals. Miltz is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played. Sydney Miller was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven boards.

Ottawa Hills pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Cardinal Stritch, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Ottawa Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-42 loss against Rossford on the 11th. As for Cardinal Stritch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 49-15 win against Woodward on the 14th.
