The West Valley Eagles will face off against the Pullman Greyhounds at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
West Valley took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 19-9 margin over Rogers. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Pullman hadn't done well against Clarkston recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Greyhounds came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bantams, sneaking past 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Greyhounds have posted since May 13, 2025.
Bailee Randall made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Randall was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
In other batting news, Juliana Stewart was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
Pullman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clarkston only posted a batting average of .103.
Pullman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.4 runs over those games. As for West Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
