The Jesus Chapel Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss dating back to last season. They were the victim of a rough 38-17 loss at the hands of Da Vinci.
Da Vinci found their leader in underclassman Natalia Morales, who scored 15 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Morales has scored at least 25% of Da Vinci's points. Another player making a difference was Valeria Miranda, who scored six points.
Jesus Chapel's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Da Vinci, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jesus Chapel will be home for the holidays to greet Fort Hancock at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Da Vinci will take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
