Pike Valley has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Stockton Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pike Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Stockton likes a good challenge.
Pike Valley posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They put the hurt on Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] with a sharp 64-44 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Pike Valley has posted against Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] since January 9, 2018.
It was another big night for Andrew Cooper, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Gavin Massell was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Stockton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 92-23 loss at the hands of Northern Valley. While losing is never fun, Stockton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while Northern Valley is ranked 54th).
Pike Valley now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Stockton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
