Pinnacle is 9-1 against the Jaguars since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Pinnacle Pioneers will look to defend their home court against the Boulder Creek Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pinnacle has eight straight victories, the Jaguars have seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
O'Connor typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Pinnacle proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 59-49 win over the Eagles. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 14 more assists than your opponent, as Pinnacle did.
It was another big night for Norah Moo, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 19 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 14 or more in the last four games she's played. Abigail Dean was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Boulder Creek lost to the Lions at home by a decisive 59-41 margin on Tuesday.
Pinnacle's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points per game. As for Boulder Creek, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 15 of their last 16 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Pinnacle against the Jaguars in their previous meeting two weeks ago as the squad secured a 67-11 victory. Does Pinnacle have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
