After flying high against the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs on Saturday, the Albert Gallatin Colonials came back down to earth. Albert Gallatin was beaten by South Allegheny 79-48 on Tuesday. Albert Gallatin was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-17.
When it comes to explaining why Albert Gallatin lost, one person who can't be blamed is Blake White. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points. The match was White's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mykel Belt, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Albert Gallatin's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-2. As for South Allegheny, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Albert Gallatin will head out on the road to face off against Ringgold at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Allegheny, they will be playing at home against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
