Meanwhile, Hope Academy entered their tilt with the Tigers with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Hope Academy secured a 73-68 W over the Tigers on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Another player making a difference was Ja'vion Jenkins, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
South Lake's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Hope Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-9.
South Lake was able to grind out a solid victory over the Trojan Tigers in their previous meeting back in January, winning 58-48. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Foreman III, who scored 20 points along with three steals.
