The Gilbert Christian Knights will venture away from home to take on the Benjamin Franklin Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated after six games, but that won't be the case come Friday.
On Friday, Gilbert Christian made easy work of ALA - Ironwood and carried off a 43-17 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won five contests by 23 points or more so far this season.

Caleb Ely was his usual excellent self, rushing for 18 yards and three scores, while also throwing for 151 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Camden Gorsline helped out on the ground, rushing for 93 yards.
Gilbert Christian didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited ALA - Ironwood to a completion percentage of just 35%. The Knights weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 64.7%.
Gilbert Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kamari Stanbury and Dusty Cook. Hyatt Lang was another major factor on D, picking up 2.5 sacks and making nine total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Benjamin Franklin against Valley Christian on Thursday as the squad secured a 35-6 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-6.
Benjamin Franklin's win came from a few key players Gilbert Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Talan Speir, who picked up 118 receiving yards and three TDs. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 118 receiving yards. Landon Stetka was another key player, rushing for 135 yards and a pair of scores.
Gilbert Christian's record is now 6-0. As for Benjamin Franklin, their record now sits at an identical 6-0.
Gilbert Christian was dealt a bruising 42-7 loss at the hands of Benjamin Franklin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Chargers' Gavin Wyler, who threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
