Drew Sermo, Berkley's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Monday. Sermo turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4. Berkley is 2-1 when Sermo posts two or more runs, but 5-11 otherwise.

Sermo's strong effort led Berkley over Bloomfield Hills and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
