Continental has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Columbus Grove Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Continental earned a 36-29 victory over the Eagles. That looming 36-29 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Continental yet this season.
Meanwhile, Columbus Grove came into Wednesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 50-46 W over Van Buren on Wednesday.
Continental's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Columbus Grove, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Continental didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 53-49 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Continental since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
