Irvington is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging a 57-8 win over Fremont. With the Vikings ahead 42-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Irvington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ethan Insixiengmay led the charge by rushing for 62 yards and one touchdown. Eddie Miu was another key rusher, rushing for 54 yards and one score.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Irvington was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 224 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Thursday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Irvington has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 167.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Washington struggles in that department as they've been averaging 205.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Irvington beat Washington 26-15 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
