Softball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Adelanto's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Adelanto walked away with it. They blew past the San Jacinto Tigers 16-10 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Adelanto has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.9 runs over those games. As for San Jacinto, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-13 record.

Coming up, Adelanto will take on Rio Hondo Prep at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Kares will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Saints surely won't give up without a fight. San Jacinto does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
