The Fisher Bunnies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They suffered a rough 43-19 defeat at the hands of Cissna Park. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fisher has scored all season.
Loss or not, Fisher got some senior leadership from Melina Luyando and Jenna Clemmons. Luyando scored 11 points along with two steals, while Clemmons. scored six points along with six rebounds.
Fisher has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Cissna Park, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-7.
Fisher's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Eureka at 5:03 p.m. on January 29th. Eureka presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fisher in Illinois (Eureka is ranked 119th, while Fisher is ranked 435th). Cissna Park's road trip will continue as they head out to face Ridgeview at 6:00 a.m. on January 30th.
