Madison Brown made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Brown was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times she's played.
In other batting news, Cottage Hill Christian Academy let Makenzie Gartman and Paislei Daughtery run wild. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Cottage Hill Christian Academy, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3.
