If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Delsea. They will challenge Bridgeton on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Delsea are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Bridgeton are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
Last Friday, Delsea put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They won the game and then some against Cedar Creek, taking the game 38-16.
Meanwhile, Bridgeton have to be hurting after a devastating 6-40 defeat at the hands of Egg Harbor Township. Bridgeton were down by 6-33 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Delsea's victory lifted them to 4-3 while Bridgeton's loss dropped them down to 1-6. We'll find out if Delsea can add another positive mark to their record or if Bridgeton can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Delsea's step.
