The Frankton Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Madison-Grant Argylls at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison-Grant took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Frankton, who comes in off a win.
Frankton's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Taylor. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten runs or more this season.
Jaden Clem tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mason Jones, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Frankton: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three hits, but 6-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarrett Morris, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Frankton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Taylor only posted a batting average of .235.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Madison-Grant's offense. They lost 7-0 to Shenandoah on Friday. The Argylls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Madison-Grant saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chad Lamb, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.
Frankton pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Madison-Grant, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
Frankton might still be hurting after the 13-2 loss they got from Madison-Grant in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
